Food coloring only way to do that will work little the whole cookie and bleed all over everything the cut pieces on the dough with the santa it probably will run and bleed some but not use the santa it is to do not to use the cut pieces.

Food coloring to the frosting if depends on if you are doing exactly but good luck.

I don’t believe so, it won’t work that great. I suggest using paste food coloring.
