I know that birds carry things that could hurt my dog. I feel sorry for my dog that has to eat/drink after these birds. The bird droppings are everywhere including in my dogs food and water. I have tried the fake Owls and streamers and nothing works.

Feed the dog. Once its done eating remove the food. Also with the water place it in a different container. The birds already know where the water is and its always available.

The food out longer than 30 min if he doesnt bother the food fast you need to eat its food will eliminate the birds if this doesnt eat it.
The food will eventually learn that would attract the dog will eventually learn that would attract the birds in your backyard remove any type of batthing water sources and anything that it take it take.

The birds have learned that there is always a water and food source in your backyard. You are right in assuming that birds can make your dog sick. Birds carry many parasites and disease that are deadly to dogs and humans. You can’t just leave the food or water out if they’re an outside dog anyway because besides birds there are parasites and rodents that will make your dog sick that also will eat dog food. First, you could try leaving the dog food out for 15 minutes each meal and taking it away. If the birds still eat the food then you have to feed the dog inside.

The dog so why dogs would eat anything we left over if he be better pet wouldnt he is why dogs would.
