What effect could it give? I read an article somewhere saying that after you eat a meal to drink hot water as a remedy, but what exactly does it do to your body?

    Drinking hot water is:

    * A Tibetan cure for indigestion
    * An old cure for flu/cold nasal congestion
    * Referred to in a traditional Chinese proverb: Give heat for heat. i.e., drinking hot water on hot day will make you sweat and hence, become cool.
